The Lo-Down: March 2022
Yet another hectic and crazy month and I am so excited to tell y’all about it. To put it simply, she is really going through it lately but that’s life (I guess). To sum it all up, I am going through a breakup, just moved to Los Angeles, and am on my second UTI of the month. Keep reading to get ALL the details on how unfortunate my life is at the moment!
moving to la
If you have been keeping up with my posts (specifically my February Recap), you may know I recently moved. This was a long time coming and could not have come at a more perfect time; I was so ready to get out of my parent’s house. There’s nothing wrong with living at home but I was starting to grow extremely frustrated with my situation, being so far from my friends and having to commute over an hour to work every day.

I moved into a super cute 3 bedroom apartment in West Hollywood and I am loving it so far. Unfortunately, it’s only for a few months because the lease is up in June. I know what you’re thinking, why only 3 months? I actually moved in with 2 friends who’s 3rd roommate was moving out early so I just took over her room. I do have a few friends that I could live with after this lease but that’s a problem for later. Click the link above if you want to get a tour of my new room!
living the single life
Yes, I am officially single. I mentioned in last month’s recap that that guy I was dating and I went on a bit of a break, we got back together for a week until I decided to end the relationship altogether. It was obviously not an easy decision or something I wanted to do but it kinda got to the point where I needed to just end things cause I knew they weren’t going to get better. I just felt like they didn’t put in the same effort as me and we wanted different things. So stay tuned through summer to hear about how the single life in LA is going… tbh I’m a little scared.
TMI… I got a UTI
This month has been nothing short of traumatic. I can honestly say I have never had a UTI in my life and lucky me, I had 2 this month. Since I never had one before I thought something was seriously wrong - there were a lot of tears and I literally peed blood at one point (I didn’t say TMI for nothing). Either way, now I completely understand girls when they complain about a UTI because it is hell and my best advice is that if you even sense one coming on go to the doctor or urgent care immediately. For my first one, I waited a few hours to just see what was going on or if it would go away and it got significantly worse even just after a few hours.
