Loving 90’s fashion? Then you need to see the newest 1990s revival trend that you need to style into your wardrobe for the upcoming year. Seriously this will be everywhere!

Just about every fashion trend nowadays is some sort of revival of a trend from previous decades, so it should be no surprise that we have another 90s-inspired trend on the come up. After the Jaded London blueprint collection dropped my attention was peaked and then after the Hailey Bieber and Fila photoshoot, it confirmed that this is a full-blown trend. Whatever you wanna call it: vintage sportswear, 90s athleisure, or even, as Vogue calls it, sport couture - this comfy and casual trend is the next big thing in fashion.

Some things that are really sticking out to me are the red, white, and blue color motifs as well as oversized tracksuits, especially zip-up jackets. 90s athletic wear was all about mixing small/tight with baggy and oversized; picture a tiny sports bra with some baggy pants or the iconic Princess Diana uniform of a large crewneck with some bike shorts. I also feel like the sportswear of this particular decade is very tennis, golf, and soccer-inspired. You can also see a lot of graphic lines and chevron details (not the cheugy kind). If you wanna shop this trend for yourself or just get the just of what it truly is, I added some styles I am dying over as well as some outfit inspiration so you can put your own twist on this nostalgic trend.

This is a super easy trend to approach and incorporate into your wardrobe which is why I love it. My favorite trends are the ones that don’t take a lot of effort and are still wearable even after the trend has “passed” because it just isn’t sustainable or realistic to buy an article of clothing just to wear when it’s “trendy.”

This post was all about the 90s athletic wear trend.
