Milan | Day 1
Recently my friend, Sydney, and I took a trip to Milan which was super exciting because neither of us had ever been before; it ended up being was when Milan Fashion Week was happening so it was the perfect time to finally go. Since we were only going to be in Milan for two days we really had to pack as much as we could into each day. On the first day, we took the metro into town and we randomly decided to get off at a stop called Lanza and it was actually such a cute part of the city. Just walking down the street we passed a little restaurant/cafe that looked pretty cozy and chic so we decided to stop for lunch since we were both starving. In case you are ever in Milan, it was called Pandenus Mercato and they had the best cheese pasta ever. After lunch, we walked over to the Starbucks Reserve because I had been dying to go to one and it was so amazing inside. Literally the nicest Starbucks you will ever see, so of course, I had to get one of their special reserve lattes.
Now that we were totally full we walked to the Duomo which was so crazy, tons of people and birds everywhere. There were so many photographers and fashion bloggers wandering around because of MFW. One videographer randomly stopped Sydney and I and asked to shoot a video of us and our outfits. Obviously, we did it but, it was super random and funny cause we were not expecting it at all. The rest of the afternoon we just explored a little and walked around the shopping areas because we only really wanted to go to the Starbucks Reserve and the Duomo on the first day and they happened to be so close together that we had a lot of free time left. Later at night, we wanted to grab some dinner so we decided to stop at La Locanda del Gatto Rosso which is inside the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. We just stopped there because it was freezing outside and we were starving but, it ended up being so good and we both got pasta, obviously. After dinner, we made our way back to the metro, which was a disaster because we got on the wrong one but, we eventually made it home.
