Milan | Day 2
For our second (and last) day in Milan, we ended up sleeping in for a little while because of how much we had gotten done the day before. Our only plan for today was to walk along the Naviglio Grande. The Airbnb we were staying in ended up being so close to the canal that we just walked to it. We explored the area for a bit and found a little cafe close by called Blues Canal. It was so sunny and the weather was so much nicer than the day before so we really wanted to sit outside. The cafe was very cute, the table and chairs reminded me a lot of Paris so that’s mostly why we picked it.
After eating more pasta and getting a few drinks at the restaurant the sun was starting to set. The canal at sunset is so beautiful, I would highly recommend it. We made our way back to the Duomo which was so pretty at night and much less crowded. We all wanted to get a drink and have a good view so we went to Terraza Aperol. Honestly, 0/10 would recommend. This place sucks, we were seated and about 25 minutes went by and the waiters and waitresses would make eye contact with us but no one came to take our order so we left. We were all obviously annoyed so we ended up going to a local grocery store to buy some wine and drinking it in the apartment and watched How I Met Your Mother. Basically, it was a pretty good second night. Even though we were only there for two days, I really loved Milan and would love to go back soon.
