It’s finally starting to feel like summer and I could not be more excited! I have so much planned for the next few months so I already know summer is going to fly by so I am going to try to stay on top of the monthly recaps so bear with me!
LA County Fair
I have a tradition with my parents that we go to the LA County Fair every year. This is one of those things we do, not because we just looveee going to the fair but because we have gone every year for so long, it almost feels weird to not go. I still enjoy going but I will admit that it is sad to see the fair get smaller and smaller every year. There used to be so much to do and see, but now we mostly go just to eat and see the animals. I actually had the best food this year though; most years it’s so hot that I don’t even have an appetite but the weather was so nice when we went. Click here to see my Tik Tok of everything I ate at the fair (spoiler: my favorite thing was the deep-fried cookie dough!)
All in all, I had a really nice day with my parents and got to see some cute animals - I live for the goats. A few highlights of the day were finding the female version of my favorite stuffed animal (look at the pictures to understand lol) and finding a little sunglasses booth that had some really cool stuff. Even though it’s just the fair… she still had to turn a lewk; watch my Tik Tok to see what I wore! If you want to shop my look, I’m wearing a skort from Dolls Kill and a Zara bodysuit both linked in this post.
Havasu for Memorial Day
After almost a year, I made my return to Havasu. I didn’t mean for that to sound dramatic I just didn’t see myself going back anytime soon. Now that I have experienced Lake Havasu twice I can safely say that I love the desert/Arizona but I am not a lake girl lol. It was a pretty chill trip overall, I stayed with my friend and her boyfriend at his house. We went on the boat both days and the weather was honestly not bad at all. It was still early enough in the year that the lake water was cold which was so refreshing considering it was 110 degrees out. We went to Kokomo one night and I’m not sure if it’s not as lit as it used to be or if I wasn’t as drunk as I was last time. I will say my highlight of the trip was going down this (extremely sketchy) slide and even though it cut my ass up so bad, it was still fun. My low points of the trip, because there were two, LOL was getting bit by a dog (literally this would only happen to me) and the seven-hour drive home.

Summer Manifestations
I have a few hopes for summer 2022. I haven’t had a great summer in a few years so I want to make this one the best one ever (although I don’t think anything will beat 2016) and just do as much as I can. Although it has been very expensive planning for the next few months I am going to try not to stress too much about money
